Diagnostic Radiologist
A healthcare organization in Seneca, Pennsylvania is seeking a full-time Diagnostic Radiologist to join a well-established and collaborative team of general radiologists. The department is supported by experienced Radiology Practitioner Assistants (RPAs), enabling an efficient and balanced workflow. This role offers a broad scope of practice across multiple imaging modalities in a collegial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret a wide range of diagnostic imaging studies across multiple modalities
- Perform general radiology procedures, including fluoroscopy and image-guided interventions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support comprehensive patient care
- Work closely with RPAs who assist with procedures and workflow efficiency
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care
Clinical Scope
Modalities:
- CT
- MRI
- Ultrasound
- Nuclear Medicine
- General Diagnostic Radiology
Procedures Include:
- Fluoroscopy
- Myelogram
- Paracentesis
- Thoracentesis
- Thyroid biopsy
- Lumbar puncture
- Light interventional radiology procedures (including sedation cases)
Schedule & Work Environment
- Full-time position
- Monday through Friday, daytime hours
- No travel between sites
- Shared call rotation, including weekdays and weekends (approximately 1:4)
- Collaborative team environment with strong RPA support
Qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Radiology (American Board or Canadian Board)
- Strong proficiency in cross-sectional imaging
- Ability to perform a broad range of general radiology procedures
- Breast imaging experience preferred, but not required
- Eligible to obtain an unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license
- Ability to obtain required credentials and DEA certification
