Seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at a busy hospital. The RN will provide specialized postoperative care, ensuring patient recovery and safety across all phases of PACU. Responsibilities:
- Assess patient condition and monitor vital signs throughout the recovery process.
- Administer medications and interventions as ordered by physicians.
- Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to coordinate patient care.
- Document patient status and care provided in electronic medical records accurately.
- Manage both Phase 1 and Phase 2 recovery activities, including discharge procedures.
- Adhere to unit policies, safety protocols, and dress code standards.
- Hold an active RN license in Texas or the applicable state.
- Possess 1-2 years of acute care hospital experience.
- Experience in PACU, ICU, or ED preferred.
- Certified in BLS and ACLS.
- Demonstrate strong engagement, adaptability, and willingness to learn new skills.
