Registered Nurse – Cardiac Cath Lab / EP
Anchorage, AK | Acute Care
Contract | Days, 4×10-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
Provide direct patient care in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting within a high-acuity acute hospital environment
Participate in on-call rotation, including one on-call day per week and every 4th/5th weekend (Friday 6:00 PM through Monday 7:30 AM)
Fulfill weekend obligations, including approximately one Saturday per month as part of the standard four-shift weekly schedule
Float within scope to meet facility needs, including potential float to EP or IR departments
Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
Active Alaska RN license required; pending Alaska license considered, but license must be in hand prior to offer finalization
Minimum of 1 year of Cardiac Cath Lab experience required; 2 years preferred
BLS certification required
ACLS certification required
Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted
Must be available for on-call shifts and willing to float to sister facilities within scope as needed
Experience in Electrophysiology (EP) or Interventional Radiology (IR)
Familiarity with Epic charting system
Prior travel nursing experience in a Cath Lab or procedural setting
