Lead Principal Radiology Technologist - West Valley Medical Center

The Lead Principal Radiologic Technologist (LPRT), supervised by the General Diagnostic Manager and Medical Director, operates radiographic equipment to produce diagnostic images following prescribed protocols and procedures. As the LPRT you will demonstrate proficiency in conducting procedures on patients across all age groups, ensuring timely completion of studies with adherence to quality standards. Moreover, it is expected that you educate patients, assist in sterile technique procedures and uphold patient confidentiality throughout the examination process. Additionally, proficiency in enhanced fluoroscopic duties in areas such as GI and GU arenas, Angiography, or Pediatric Diagnostics is an integral aspect of this position. Training for this role is required. The training will be variable days and shifts Monday through Friday. The training will primarily occur in our Westwood Ronald Reagan Hospital area and other Imaging areas as needed. The training at those areas may take at least 3 months. The duration of training and days of the training will be at the discretion of your Direct Supervisor. The LPRT is expected to support UCLA healthcare radiology locations in the West Valley Medical Center area and other Imaging areas. All Radiologic Technologists need to possess the skills, knowledge and abilities essential to the successful performance of duties assigned to the position; graduate of a Radiologic Technology Training Program approved by the American Medical Association or equivalent training, maintaining current CRT, CRT - Fluoro and ARRT licensure. Salary: $58.74 - $77.50 Hourly *Update to Job Posting* Shift has been ammended to reflect accurate times. Prior to 5/8/26 the shift was Mid, evening and night shifts along with weekend and holiday rotations. Updated now to reflect the shift will be 3pm - 1130pm*
