Experience:
1 year of prior Ultrasound Tech experience required.
First-time travelers with 3+ years of experience accepted.


License:
ARDMS, ARDMS AB, RVT, BLS required.


Certifications:
Epic charting experience required.


Must-Have:
GE, PACS equipment experience required.
Required to participate in call rotation.


Description:
The Ultrasound Technician will work night shifts from 20:00 to 06:30, Monday to Thursday.
The role involves performing general ultrasound examinations for adult patients, including ER, OB, and portable cases.
Experience with Abdominal aorta, Appendix, Gallbladder, Liver, Pancreas, and Pediatric Abdomen/Pelvis is necessary.
The technician will be responsible for OB/GYN exams such as 1st Trimester assessments, amniotic fluid index measurements, and managing cases of placenta previa.
Neonatal examinations for abdomen, pelvis, renal, and bladder, as well as renal and pelvic exams, will also be performed.
Additional responsibilities include conducting vascular studies, including aorta, carotid, color flow, and duplex assessments, as well as lower and upper extremity arterial and venous evaluations.
The technician must ensure all procedures are performed in accordance with isolation precautions and safety protocols.
The position requires excellent communication and collaboration skills, as the technician will work closely with interdisciplinary teams.
This role is suited for professionals who are detail-oriented and committed to providing high-quality patient care.
