Job Title

Travel Registered Nurse – Cardiac Med/Surg (Nights)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Cardiac Medical/Surgical unit during overnight shifts
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions, responding promptly to changes in patient status
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, procedures, and discharge instructions

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Tennessee or a compact state license
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience
• Experience in a Medical/Surgical or Cardiac Med/Surg setting
• Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
• Ability to work 12-hour overnight shifts in a fast-paced inpatient environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience
• Familiarity with cardiac monitoring and telemetry in a Med/Surg environment
• Strong adaptability and ability to quickly integrate into new care team environments
