Virginia Licensed Mechanical Engineer

To innovate sustainable solutions in a high-performing and collaborative environment, a Virginia Licensed Mechanical Engineer will design and produce mechanical construction documents for commercial and federal projects, with opportunities for remote work available. Key responsibilities Utilize Revit and AutoCAD for mechanical HVAC engineering design, including drawing production and specification writing Coordinate discipline efforts, conduct construction site reviews, and perform code reviews for MEP systems across various project types Assist with the design of controls systems, load calculations, and equipment sizing while potentially engaging in projects across multiple Dewberry offices Required qualifications BSME or Architectural Engineering degree with a mechanical focus 5 to 10 years of experience in mechanical HVAC design Professional Engineer (PE) license required Experience with Revit MEP, AutoCAD, and HVAC load calculations using Trane Trace or IES VE software preferred USGBC LEED Accredited Professional certification is preferred
