Role Summary Terrain Café is a chef-driven, garden-to-table restaurant that celebrates seasonal ingredients and the art of gathering through thoughtful menus and warm, welcoming spaces rooted in craftsmanship and heartfelt hospitality. The Floor Supervisor leads hourly teams to deliver a best-in-class brand experience, overseeing floor operations to ensure our signature standards of hospitality are met. The Floor Supervisor works in collaboration with the General Manager and AGM, reaching targets for controllable spending, including labor and sales. Essential Duties: Shift Leadership: Lead floor shifts with high energy and strict adherence to opening, closing, and operational standards. Direct daily workflow by assigning equitable floor sections, runningengaging pre-shift meetings, enforcing dress code, and stepping into service roles wheneverextra support is needed. Brand Ambassador: Serve as the ultimate champion of the Terrain brand, ensuring our corevalues are reflected in every guest touchpoint. Active Engagement: Maintain a strong, visible presence on the floor during peak hours,modeling extraordinary service standards and creating moments of genuine guest delight. Feedback & Connection: Intentionally connect with guests to obtain real-time feedback, and actively monitor and respond to external customer communication channels. Service Redirection: Act as the first line of defense for shift challenges, guest needs, seamlesslyturning negative experiences into opportunities to build lifelong brand loyalty. Safety & Compliance: Uphold the highest standards for sanitation and safety, ensuring the team consistently exceeds all regulatory and company guidelines. Proactive Problem Solving: Think on your feet to swiftly resolve unexpected operationalhiccups, from equipment malfunctions to sudden supply shortages.
