Working closely with Exploration, Production and Marketing, Commercial adds significant value by improving ConocoPhillips’ supply chain management and growing its third-party global trading business. This is a counterparty due diligence role at the heart of the Commercial business. Working within our decentralized screening model, you will help ensure the counterparties we trade with — trading partners, terminals, brokers, agents, and marine-adjacent entities — are properly reviewed, understood, and cleared before we do business, and monitored for change afterwards. The majority of your time will be spent on KYC; a smaller portion supports our trade-monitoring program, giving you exposure to how trading activity is analyzed across global markets. We are looking for someone detail-oriented, self-motivated, and trainable, who brings a genuine risk mindset and sound judgment — someone who wants to understand why a counterparty or a piece of information doesn’t add up, not just tick a box.
