Weld Specialist (MIG Welder)

Location: Redmond, WA

Pay: $27.49/hr + Overtime (1.5x Pay)

Schedule: Full-Time | Overtime Available

We're hiring Weld Specialists, MIG Welders, Production Welders, and Manufacturing Welders to support a fast-paced production environment in Redmond, WA. This role is ideal for individuals with MIG welding experience who enjoy hands-on work, reading blueprints, and producing high-quality welds in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on steel components and weldments
• Load and unload parts into welding fixtures and workstations
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols
• Verify weld size, length, and quality to meet specifications
• Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently
• Inspect completed weldments using measurements and quality standards
• Arrange and fit parts according to drawings, fixtures, and layouts
• Support production goals while maintaining safety and quality requirements

Qualifications

Required:

• At least 1 year of MIG welding experience or technical welding school training
• Ability to pass a welding skills assessment
• Ability to read blueprints and follow welding specifications
• Mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly
• Comfortable working in a production manufacturing environment

Preferred:

• Experience with steel welding
• Manufacturing or production welding experience
• Knowledge of welding symbols and blueprint layouts
• Experience working with quality standards and continuous improvement processes

Work Environment

This position is based in a manufacturing and warehouse environment. Welders work in designated weld cells and can expect to stand, walk, kneel, and perform physical work throughout 10-hour shifts. Safety is a top priority, and all required welding PPE is provided except steel-toe boots.
