Job Description

As a Security Officer - Luxury Retail in Scottsdale AZ you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls and more. As a Screener at a premier retail location you will help maintain a welcoming secure environment by screening visitors monitoring access points verifying badges and communicating professionally with associates and guests. Your visible presence and attention to detail will help deter security-related incidents while supporting exceptional customer service. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients guests and employees at a luxury retail location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Screen employees visitors contractors deliveries and packages in accordance with established access-control and screening procedures.
• Monitor entry points and report unauthorized access attempts suspicious activity and policy violations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner following established emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned retail areas entrances exits stock areas and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
