This role involves coordinating and implementing patient care specific to the postoperative population, ensuring quality and safety standards are met throughout the recovery process. Job Details Position: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Location: New Mexico Schedule: 4, 10-hour shifts, Days (8:00 AM - 6:30 PM), minimum 40 hours per week Certifications, Education, and Experience: Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license, BLS via AHA Certification, ACLS via AHA Certification, PALS via AHA Certification, 2 years of RN experience required Responsibilities include initial patient assessment, developing and implementing individualized care plans, performing Point of Care testing procedures, and participating in discharge planning. Experience with Epic electronic medical records is preferred. A float rotation may be required. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams and perform clinical tasks within the standards of care.
