The hospital provides comprehensive cardiac anesthesia services with established protocols for diverse cardiovascular procedures. The facility maintains appropriate resources and support systems to deliver quality anesthesia care across cardiac, electrophysiology, thoracic, and cardiology service lines. The institution operates with modern anesthesia capabilities designed to support optimal patient outcomes in cardiac surgical settings.

The cardiac anesthesiologist will provide comprehensive anesthesia services during 5x8 shifts with participation in a 1:3 call rotation. The clinician will manage a diverse cardiac case mix including cardiac procedures, electrophysiology cases, thoracic surgery, and cardiology procedures throughout each assignment day. The position requires competent performance and interpretation of intraoperative transesophageal echocardiograms for straightforward cardiac cases. Board certification in anesthesiology is required for this locum tenens assignment.
