Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Position Overview: PET CT Technologists perform diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine, PET scans, and diagnostic CT procedures, ensuring patient safety and image quality. They prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals, operate advanced imaging equipment, and process images for interpretation. Responsibilities: Conduct nuclear medicine, PET, and CT procedures, perform quality control, maintain records per regulations, and ensure safety protocols. They perform venipuncture, calculate dosages, assist with therapeutic radioactive materials, and participate in safety and process improvement activities. Qualifications: Must be a graduate of an approved Nuclear Medicine Technology program, with current certifications (CNMT and/or ARRT), a Florida license as a Nuclear Medicine and CT Technologist, and BLS certification. Skills & Requirements: Knowledge of nuclear medicine, PET, CT procedures, radiation safety, and equipment operation are essential.
