Experienced HVAC Service Technician Tri-Valley Area, CA Full-Time | $35.00-$45.00 per hour + Benefits Are you an experienced HVAC technician looking for a company where you can focus on diagnosing problems, making quality repairs, and taking care of customers ? We are looking for an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join an established residential and light commercial HVAC team serving the Tri-Valley area. This is a hands-on service position for someone who is comfortable working independently in the field, troubleshooting HVAC systems, and determining the right repair rather than simply replacing equipment. What We Offer $35.00-$45.00 per hour, based on experience 401(k) with company match up to 4% Employer-paid Medical, Dental & Vision coverage for employee 7 paid holidays Paid sick leave Paid vacation beginning in the first year Increased PTO with tenure Full-time, year-round opportunity Continued technical training and development Opportunity for long-term growth What You'll Be Doing Diagnose and repair residential and light commercial heating and cooling systems Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, airflow, and refrigeration issues Perform scheduled maintenance and identify developing equipment problems Repair existing systems whenever practical and appropriate Test electrical components using meters and diagnostic equipment Perform refrigerant recovery, charging, and related HVAC/R procedures Read wiring diagrams, schematics, and manufacturer specifications Complete system start-ups, testing, and commissioning Clearly explain system problems and repair recommendations to customers Complete accurate service documentation Maintain safe and professional work practices in the field What We're Looking For 3+ years of HVAC field experience Solid HVAC service, repair, and diagnostic abilities Residential HVAC experience required; light commercial experience is a plus Strong electrical troubleshooting skills Knowledge of refrigeration and HVAC mechanical systems Ability to diagnose problems independently Comfortable reading wiring diagrams and technical documentation EPA Type II or Universal Certification preferred Valid California driver's license with an acceptable driving record Good communication and customer-service skills Dependable and professional approach to field service A Good Fit for This Position You may be a strong fit if you're currently working in HVAC but want a position with more troubleshooting and service work , greater independence, and an opportunity to continue developing your technical abilities.
