Job Details

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead, manage, and develop the plant maintenance team
• Own maintenance and reliability activities for manufacturing equipment and the facility
• Develop and implement a comprehensive preventive maintenance program
• Conduct regular equipment inspections to identify wear, failures, and performance concerns
• Coordinate repairs, equipment upgrades, retrofits, and reliability improvements
• Schedule and prioritize maintenance activities around production requirements
• Minimize equipment downtime while maximizing safety, quality, and production efficiency
• Ensure plant and facility activities remain compliant with applicable regulations
• Develop and manage the maintenance department budget
• Partner with procurement to maintain critical spare parts and maintenance supplies
• Evaluate equipment performance and recommend upgrades or replacements
• Maintain accurate work orders, maintenance histories, and equipment performance records
• Analyze maintenance data to identify recurring failures and improvement opportunities
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives throughout maintenance and plant operations
• Serve as a technical resource and advisor to plant leadership

REQUIREMENTS

• 8+ years of industrial maintenance experience
• Previous maintenance leadership or supervisory experience
• Experience managing maintenance within a manufacturing environment
• Strong experience supporting molding or similar complex production equipment
• Advanced knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
• Strong electrical troubleshooting knowledge
• Experience developing and managing preventive maintenance programs
• Experience leading equipment repairs, upgrades, and reliability initiatives
• Knowledge of manufacturing safety practices and regulatory compliance
• Experience managing maintenance schedules around production requirements
• Experience with computerized maintenance management systems
• Strong understanding of equipment reliability and downtime reduction
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations management, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience

NICE TO HAVES

• Direct experience supporting plastic molding equipment and processes
• Experience leading maintenance within a high volume molding operation
• Experience managing maintenance budgets and capital recommendations
• Familiarity with spare parts inventory strategy and procurement
• Experience analyzing equipment performance metrics and failure trends
• Experience implementing maintenance improvement initiatives
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
