Job Description: 
Hire Dynamics is assisting a global supply chain leader in hiring a Transportation Assistant in Brentwood, TN. This full-time opportunity offers competitive pay, a consistent schedule, and the chance to work with cross-functional teams while supporting customer accounts in a fast-paced logistics environment.

As a Transportation Assistant, you will manage customer communications, coordinate shipments, and help resolve delivery issues while providing a high level of service.

Schedule:

• Friday to Monday 7 am to 7 pm 
• 2nd shift 11 am to 7 pm Monday to Friday

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• AS/AA or BS/BA preferred but NOT required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Willingness to learn industry products and terminology
• Ability to commute to Brentwood, TN

Responsibilities

• Dispatch daily runs to ensure on-time deliveries
• Provide accurate and timely updates to customers
• Coordinate logistics with internal teams and clients
• Identify and resolve customer issues and concerns
• Communicate with production, shipping, and warehouse teams to track shipment status
• Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries by phone and email
• Locate and expedite delayed, misrouted, missing, or damaged shipments
