Lawn Mowing - Landscape Laborer

Selkirk Landscape is hiring a  Lawn Mowing Technician to join our professional mowing crews. No prior lawn care experience is required — we’re looking for dependable people with a strong work ethic who want to learn and grow with a well-established company. Selkirk Landscape is also hiring a  Mow Crew Lead to run a high-quality mowing route and lead a 2-person crew. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys leadership, and wants a long-term position with a growing, well-organized company.

Schedule

· Monday–Thursday workweek (10-hour days)

· Fridays only when needed to stay on schedule or complete weekly work

· Consistent hours and organized routes

Pay & Benefits

· $18–$24/hour depending on experience

What You’ll Be Doing

Crew Member : You’ll work alongside an experienced Crew Lead and learn professional lawn care skills, including:

· Assisting with mowing, trimming, edging, and blowing residential and commercial properties

· Maintaining high-quality work while learning efficient techniques

· Supporting the Crew Lead to keep daily routes on track

· Keeping equipment clean, organized, and well-maintained

· Representing Selkirk professionally on job sites

What We’re Looking For

· No prior experience required —  we provide training

· Willingness to learn and follow direction

· Strong work ethic and attention to detail

· Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

· Valid Driver’s License

· Reliable transportation to and from work (company truck provided during work hours)

· Positive attitude and team-first mindset

Mow Crew Lead : you will be trusted to  run your route like it’s your own :

• Mowing, trimming, edging, and blowing commercial and residential properties
• Ensuring work is completed  on time and to Selkirk quality standards
• Leading and working alongside a helper
• Training and coaching your helper for efficiency and quality
• Keeping your daily and weekly schedule on track
• Maintaining clean, organized, and well-serviced equipment
• Representing Selkirk professionally on every property

What We’re Looking For

• At least 1 season of professional mowing experience (lead experience preferred)
• Ability to lead, communicate, and set expectations for a helper
• Strong attention to detail and pride in clean, finished work
• Valid Driver’s License
• Reliable transportation to and from work (company truck provided during work hours)
• Positive attitude and team-first mindset
