If you're organized, analytical, and thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, this is an opportunity to build your career with a global aerospace leader.As a Quality Technician, you'll play a key role in maintaining our Quality Management System, supporting production, and ensuring the precision and compliance our aerospace customers expect.Compensation & BenefitsStarting Pay: $24.00+/hour (Based on experience and certifications)$3,000 Sign-On Bonus for eligible external hiresComprehensive Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance401(k) Retirement PlanPaid Vacation & HolidaysShift differentialsCareer Growth & Advancement OpportunitiesOvertime opportunitiesStable, industry-leading aerospace manufacturerWhat You'll DoAs a Quality Technician, you'll support quality assurance activities throughout the manufacturing process while working closely with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams.Perform source inspections using customer specifications, engineering drawings, work instructions, and quality documentation.Review product documentation to ensure compliance with customer requirements prior to product release (DSQR/Product Release activities).Maintain quality records through document control, including scanning, filing, and record retention.Update work instructions, routers, quality documents, and manufacturing paperwork.Support the administration of the Certified Operator/Inspector Program, including employee training, testing, auditing, and documentation.Conduct quality audits of parts being manufactured and verify compliance with internal procedures and customer requirements.Collect, review, and maintain Statistical Process Control (SPC) data to support process improvement.Assist with Material Review Board (MRB) documentation, corrective actions, supplier returns, and quality reporting.Verify inspection reports and quality documentation for completeness and accuracy.Support internal special processes and continuous improvement initiatives.Perform internal process audits and help ensure compliance with our Quality Management System.Collaborate with multiple departments to resolve quality concerns while maintaining positive working relationships.What We're Looking ForHighly organized and systematic, with the ability to manage multiple customer-specific requirements and quality processes.Self-motivated and able to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.A strong communicator who works collaboratively across departments.Detail-oriented with excellent documentation skills.Comfortable learning and retaining technical information and customer requirements.Able to think critically, solve problems, and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.Why Howmet Aerospace?The products we manufacture support commercial aerospace and defense industries where quality is essential.
