Grounds Staff

Groundskeeper; Course Utility Worker

III.          Job Summary (Essential Functions)

Maintain landscaping around the golf course and apartment complex, clubhouse and other club facilities, including parking lots.

IV.          Job Tasks (Additional Responsibilities)

1.                   Operates light equipment such as a grass trimmer or smaller riding mowers.

2.                   Must completely understand the importance of safety protocol while operating any equipment.

3.                   Rakes and blows leaves.

4.                   Prepares and lays sod.

5.                   Performs maintenance on grounds such as limb removal or clean up.

6.                   Rakes bunkers.

7.                   Loads and unloads materials.

8.                   Repairs turf problems.

9.                   Helps with drainage projects.

10.                Garbage clean-up / all grounds, creeks, and parking lots.

11.                Attends staff meetings.

12.                Performs other appropriate tasks assigned.

Assistant Superintendents, Horticulturist

VI.          Supervises

No supervisory duties are included in this position.
