Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | Weekend and Holiday Rotation | No Call | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-level nursing care in a high-acuity PCU setting with a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio, including management of multiple long-term patients
• Monitor, manage, and interpret cardiac telemetry and dysrhythmias
• Titrate IV drips and manage peripheral and PICC lines
• Float to other campuses within the health system as needed
• Complete unit-based orientation modules and maintain compliance with all facility requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience; first-time travelers are welcome
• Experience working in a PCU setting with 1:5 patient ratios
• Cardiac telemetry experience required, including management and interpretation of dysrhythmias
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Must pass a compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed)
• Valid driver's license required; candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• No open background check cases permitted; third-party education verification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with peripheral line care and PICC line management
• Familiarity with titrating drips in a step-down or intermediate care environment
