About the Role Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated Remote E-commerce Specialist to manage and optimize their online retail presence. This role is fully remote, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within South Africa. You will be responsible for enhancing the online customer journey, driving traffic, and maximizing conversion rates across their digital platforms. The ideal candidate is data-driven, possesses a deep understanding of e-commerce best practices, and excels at strategic online retail management. You will be a key contributor to the company's digital growth strategy, working independently and collaborating with remote marketing and logistics teams to ensure a seamless online shopping experience for customers nationwide. Key Responsibilities Manage and optimize product listings, descriptions, and imagery on the e-commerce platform. Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns (SEO, SEM, social media, email) to drive online sales. Analyze website traffic, sales data, and customer behavior to identify trends and areas for improvement. Ensure a smooth and intuitive online customer purchasing experience from browsing to checkout. Collaborate with the logistics team to manage order fulfillment and shipping processes efficiently. Stay updated on e-commerce trends and competitor activities. Requirements Proven experience in e-commerce management or digital marketing. Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, social media marketing, and email marketing strategies. Proficiency with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce) and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
