Job Description

As a Wastewater Operator, you will operate equipment to purify and clarify water, process it, or dispose of sewage. You will collect and test water and sewage samples, document and report test results, and record meter and gauge readings. This role requires strong communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to use computer programs for process control and keen attention to detail.

Work Environment

The position follows a 4-day work schedule from Monday to Thursday, with 10-hour shifts. The work environment involves exposure to wastewater, chemicals, odors, high-noise areas, and outdoor weather conditions. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as respirators, gloves, and protective clothing is required. The role may require rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and after-hours call-outs.

This is a Permanent position based out of Monterey Park, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
