Job Summary:
We are seeking an Embedded Software Engineer with strong hands-on experience in C/C++, Python, ROS, Linux, OpenCV, and embedded systems development . The candidate will work on precision mining and autonomy-related features, supporting design, development, integration, testing, validation, and troubleshooting in an Agile environment.
Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field with 2-4 years of relevant experience , OR
-
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field with 1-2 years of relevant experience
Required Skills

Strong programming experience with C, C++, and Python
-
Hands-on experience with ROS1 and/or ROS2
-
Experience with OpenCV and Machine Learning development

Embedded software development experience
-
Experience working in Linux environments
-
Strong knowledge of GitHub/version control

Experience with communication protocols such as:

Ethernet

Strong troubleshooting and issue-resolution skills

Ability to write clear and concise technical documentation

Develop precision mining features using Embedded C++, Linux, and GitHub

Design, develop, review, integrate, and test embedded software

Perform issue triage, troubleshooting, debugging, and root-cause analysis

Develop and execute validation plans

Participate in Agile sprint planning and development activities

Perform systems requirements decomposition and translate requirements into software designs

Support software integration and system-level testing

Collaborate with machine, systems, software, and validation engineering teams

Work effectively with culturally diverse and globally distributed teams

Support development of robotics/autonomy-related embedded applications
