About the Position

Job Title: MS/Tele RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Medical/Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years of experience required License: Active state nursing license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Candidate must successfully pass the EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on lethal rhythms. Previous charge experience preferred. Cerner experience required. Every other weekend and holiday required. Float required within units of equivalent or lower levels of acuity. Description: The position involves caring for patients in a Medical/Surgical/Telemetry environment. Responsibilities include monitoring cardiac rhythms and managing IV therapy. Candidates should have experience with genitourinary/renal conditions. The unit typically maintains a patient ratio of 1:6. The team consists of interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy. Additional skills required include management of dysrhythmias, central line care, and blood product administration. All employees must receive the flu vaccine. Travel experience is required for this position. No requested time off is permitted during the first two weeks of the assignment. Modules and additional compliance requirements must be completed within specified timeframes. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate proficiency and familiarity with necessary equipment and protocols. All applicants must provide two supervisory references.
