$17.00 - $30.00/hr* Full time Shift may start between 8:00am - 11:00am Shift may start between 1:00pm - 4:00pm Role summary The main priority of Deli / Bakery associates is to prepare quality products for customers. They engage with customers at the service counter and move incoming merchandise out to the sales floor. Cleaning and maintaining proper food safety standards are critical to the team's success. What you’ll do We want people who can help our customers eat healthy. You’ll be responsible for making decisions about the quality of fruit and vegetables our customers eat. Your smile can make the difference between a good shopping experience and a great one. Work in our deli and be on the frontlines of customer service. In our bakery, help customers celebrate special moments by decorating cakes and making food. Work in our dry grocery department and ensure customers find the items they are looking for. No matter which fresh food or grocery area you work in, you will perform detailed cleaning of shelves and the department, checking and maintaining temperature control, verifying dates, and disposing of lesser quality food products. If you have a passion or experience with fresh food or grocery, this is the job for you. Compensation and benefits We offer competitive pay as well as performance‑based incentive awards and additional hourly premiums ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Premiums may be paid in multiple amounts if the criteria are met. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
