Senior Employment Litigation Associate Attorney

Direct Counsel is seeking a Senior Employment Litigation Associate Attorney to join a leading national law firm. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced employment litigator looking to take on sophisticated matters, work closely with accomplished attorneys, and continue developing a book of business in a collaborative environment.

The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of employment litigation experience , strong trial experience, and the ability to independently manage matters from inception through resolution. An entrepreneurial mindset and interest in growing a practice are highly valued.

Location: Denver, CO

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of employment litigation experience.

• Trial experience required.

• Ability to independently manage litigation matters from inception through resolution.

• Experience handling Title VII matters.

• Experience with unpaid compensation and wage-related claims.

• Experience handling harassment and other employment-related claims.

• Strong written, oral, and client-communication skills.

• Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical abilities.

• Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment.

• Entrepreneurial mindset and interest in developing a practice.

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school.

• Admission to the Colorado Bar required.

Responsibilities:

• Manage employment litigation matters from inception through resolution.

• Draft and respond to pleadings and other litigation documents.

• Manage discovery and conduct depositions.

• Draft and argue motions.

• Represent clients in mediations, hearings, and trial proceedings.

• Advise clients regarding day-to-day employment law challenges.

• Draft and revise employee handbooks, policies, and related materials.

• Assist with employment law training and counseling.

• Work collaboratively with partners and other attorneys while independently managing assigned matters.

• Develop and maintain strong client relationships.

• Contribute to business development and practice growth initiatives.

Compensation: $240,000-$295,000 annually, depending on experience, skills, qualifications, internal equity, and other applicable factors.
