Lead Quality Analyst

Job Summary The Quality Analyst plays a critical role in advancing operational excellence by evaluating processes, uncovering inefficiencies, and implementing sustainable, data-driven improvements. Partnering closely with teams across the organization, this role applies Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies to reduce costs, strengthen quality, and build a culture of accountability and excellence. Responsibilities Broadly apply principles, theories, and concepts related to the profession. Provide recommendations regarding issues outside the bounds of defined procedures and practices. Demonstrate good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Make wide latitude for decisions within assignments, programs, and projects; impact generally limited to the project or department. Act as a resource to advise and lead the work of lower-level professionals and/or support employees. Represent the department on projects and, at times, perform in a project leadership role. Additional Duties Define and drive the organization’s quality analysis strategy, establishing standards, tools, and frameworks that align with business objectives and long-term operational excellence goals. Lead the organization’s continuous improvement program, prioritizing high-impact initiatives and ensuring measurable outcomes across departments. Oversee the design and delivery of quality reporting at the executive level, providing strategic insights and recommendations that influence business decisions. Establish and govern the organization’s corrective and preventive action process, ensuring systemic issues are resolved and recurrence is prevented. Serve as the senior quality liaison to executive stakeholders, building partnerships that embed a culture of quality and accountability across the organization. Lead the design and implementation of enterprise-wide continuous improvement training programs. Build internal competency in Lean, Six Sigma, and related methodologies across all levels of the organization. Lead change management strategy for major quality and operational transformation initiatives. Engage stakeholders at all levels to foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence. Own the organization’s quality audit program, ensure regulatory and standards compliance, and drive a culture of accountability and continuous readiness. Experience Minimum 8 years of job-related work experience beyond degree requirements. Minimum 8 years of experience in continuous improvement, process improvement, or operations analysis. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate findings into actionable plans. Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel or PowerBI, and experience with process mapping tools (e.g., Visio). Excellent project management skills and ability to lead cross‑functional teams. Preferred: Experience in continuous improvement, process improvement, or operations analysis. Preferred: Understanding of the electricity industry. Education Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Accounting, Auditing or related field (Required).
