Locums CRNA - Alaska Ambulatory Surgery Center - Nerve Block Experience Required

Aya Locums is seeking 1-2 skilled CRNAs to provide locum services at an ambulatory surgery center in Fairbanks, Alaska. This is an excellent opportunity for a CRNA comfortable practicing independently with strong nerve block skills. Coverage is needed starting January 19, 2026, and ongoing. The surgery center offers on-site housing in an adjacent duplex property or will cover all expenses.

Job Details:

• Case Types: General Surgery, Hernias, Eyes, Ears, Sinus, Ortho General, Colonoscopies (no urology, no complex hospital cases)
\n
• Setting: Ambulatory Surgery Center
\n
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7am-4pm (procedures start at 7:30am), 40-hour work week
\n
• Annual Volume: Approximately 2,800 cases annually
\n
• Nerve Block Requirements: Interscalenes (primary), supraclavicular, infraclavicular, axillary, adductor canal, genicular PENG, popliteal blocks, TAP blocks. Will place interscalene and adductor canal catheters.
\n
• Special Note: 1 Thursday per month features neuro ortho cases (may have coverage)
\n
• Practice Style: Independent practice
\n
• Overtime: Time and a half for anything over 40 hours per week or 8 hours per day
\n
• Credentialing: Fast-track credentialing (completed in days with primary source verification)
\n

Requirements:

• Active CRNA Certification (Board-Certified)
\n
• Active Alaska Medical License (licensing candidates will be considered)
\n
• Comfortable practicing independently
\n
• Strong nerve block experience required
\n
• Ability to place nerve block catheters
\n
