Principal DRAM Product Applications Engineer

You’ll guide product validation, improve quality, and help customers integrate memory into complex platforms. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys hands‑on debug, data‑driven problem solving, and cross‑functional collaboration.Responsibilities:Validate and characterize DRAM products on system platforms and next‑generation processorsAnalyze product, yield, and performance data to improve quality and reliabilitySupport failure analysis and document corrective actionsDevelop application notes, design guidance, and technical trainingAssist customer integration efforts, including SI/PI, timing, and system bring‑upMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fieldExperience in product engineering, applications engineering, hardware validation, or system integrationUnderstanding of memory technologies, system architecture, or platform validationExposure to tools such as Python, Linux, or JMPStrong problem‑solving and communication skillsUtilize AI AgentsPreferred Qualifications:Experience with DDR4, DDR5, HBM, GDDR, or similar memory technologiesFamiliarity with lab equipment, electrical validation, or SI/PI fundamentalsMaster’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fieldExperience supporting customer bring‑up or system‑level debugThe US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:$177,000.00 - $302,000.00 a yearAdditional compensation may include benefits, bonuses and equity.Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
