Shipping/Receiving Clerk | $19.00 per hour | 7:00a-3:00p Mon-Fri | Warehouse Environment

Job Description:

The Shipping/Receiving Clerk will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring all items are accurately received, inspected, and documented. This role includes preparing packages for shipment, maintaining inventory records, and coordinating with carriers to ensure timely deliveries. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities: 

1. Receive, inspect, verify incoming shipments against purchase orders or invoices
2. Accurately record and track inventory using computer systems or shipping software
3. Prepare and package outgoing shipments, including labeling and documentation
4. Coordinate with carriers (UPS, FedEx, freight companies) to schedule pickups and deliveries
5. Perform routine inventory counts and assist with cycle counts
6. Ensure compliance with company policies and safety procedures
7. Communicate effectively with internal teams regarding shipment status and discrepancies

Qualifications and Requirements: 

1. Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations preferred
2. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, good communication and teamwork skills
3. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
4. High School diploma or equivalent required 
5. Basic computer skills (MS Office; experience with inventory systems a plus)
6. Operate basic machine equipment such as forklifts (if certified)
7. Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings

If you are hired, your base salary will be determined based on factors such as individual skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. In addition, we also believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth.
