Distribution Coordinator

Distribution CoordinatorItron is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Distribution Coordinator to support shipping and receiving operations. This role ensures the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments, maintains records, and facilitates internal routing of materials.Duties and Responsibilities:Verify shipments against bills of lading, invoices, and purchase ordersCreate bill of ladings for products shipped as non-Bill of materialConfirm materials received match purchase order documentationRoute incoming items to appropriate internal departmentsMaintain accurate shipping and receiving recordsReceive and stock finished goods and raw materialsShip materials using carrier systems (e.g., FedEx, UPS)Move materials between storage and production areasEnter warehouse transactions into Oracle ERPDeliver materials from building suppliersCoordinate with carriers for pickups and deliveriesRequired Skills and Experience:High school diploma or equivalentStrong organizational and time management skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesAbility to work independently and collaborativelyAttention to detail and commitment to accuracyBasic understanding of shipping and receiving proceduresProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)Experience with Oracle or similar ERP systemsFamiliarity with carrier systems (FedEx, UPS)Strong problem-solving skills and adaptabilityPreferred Skills and Experience:Previous experience in warehouse, dock, or logisticsForklift certification or experience with material handling equipmentExperience in manufacturing or industrial environmentsKnowledge of safety protocols and hazardous material handlingAssociate's degree in related field or equivalent experience.Physical Demands:Regularly required to sit, stand, and handle componentsFrequently required to reach, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawlMust be able to lift up to 50 poundsExposure to fumes, particles, weather, electrical risk, vibration, and noiseMay work near moving mechanical partsCompensation:San Jose, CA: Base salary range: $25.00 - $57.69 per hour Final rate determined by skills and experience in accordance with non-discriminatory practices.Itron is committed to building an inclusive and diverse workforce and providing an authentic workplace experience for all employees.
