Description The Richland Hospital The Richland Hospital is seeking a full-time, benefit-eligible Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. This position plays a vital role in providing exceptional patient care while supporting physicians and other providers in a fast-paced clinical environment. Position Summary The Certified Medical Assistant/LPN is responsible for assisting providers with patient examinations and care, administering injections and immunizations according to established protocols, and ensuring a positive patient experience. This role also serves as an important point of contact for patients by providing information, scheduling appointments, and managing communications. Assist physicians and other healthcare providers with examinations and patient care. Administer injections and immunizations following established procedures and provider direction. Communicate professionally with patients, families, and the public. Answer incoming telephone calls, record accurate messages, and route calls appropriately. Schedule patient appointments and maintain accurate records. Provide general information regarding hospital and clinic services. Participate in training and perform basic laboratory procedures as needed. Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to support quality patient care. Qualifications Education & Experience Medical Assistant Certification from an approved program required , or Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required . Current CPR Certification required . Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong verbal and written communication skills. Professional, courteous, and patient-focused demeanor. Ability to learn new skills and acquire knowledge necessary to perform essential job functions. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
