Commercial Litigation Attorney

You will be entrusted with a diverse and challenging caseload, taking on significant responsibilities from the start.Key Responsibilities:Handle all aspects of commercial litigation, including case strategy, discovery, motion practice, depositions, and trial preparation.Draft and argue motions, pleadings, and legal briefs.Conduct legal research and analysis on complex commercial disputes.Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and arbitrations.Advise clients on risk assessment and litigation strategies.Collaborate with colleagues on land use and environmental matters when applicable.Position Requirements:Must be admitted to the Illinois bar and in good standingThe ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial litigation, with additional experience in land use and environmental law considered a plus.Strong legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skillsExperience with land use and environmental law is a plus.Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills.This is an excellent opportunity to join a tight-knit group offering a high level of responsibility in an exciting and growing practice area.We value work-life balance and offer hybrid work arrangements, allowing you to work from both the office and remotely.Illinois Candidates Only: Estimated $135,000 to $175,000.
