Maintenance Technician II

Maintenance Technician $23.00 to $27.00 an hour Full-Time Days at Lutheran Home a senior living community in Arlington Heights IL.

Lutheran Home is a nonprofit senior living campus with independent living assisted living memory care and skilled nursing all on one campus. As a Maintenance Technician youll keep the buildings grounds and equipment running so residents and staff have a safe comfortable place to live and work.

What Youll Do

• Repair and maintain electrical plumbing HVAC and mechanical systems across the campus
• Complete preventive maintenance and routine inspections
• Troubleshoot and fix issues in resident apartments and common areas
• Respond to maintenance requests and emergency repairs including during your on-call rotation
• Keep accurate records of work orders and completed repairs
• Maintain grounds and building systems to support daily operations

What Youll Need

• At least 1 year of maintenance or building services experience
• Ability to lift carry push and pull equipment and supplies as the job requires

Preferred

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in healthcare senior living or commercial facilities
• Working knowledge of electrical plumbing and HVAC systems
• Valid drivers license
