What You'll Earn

Work on a variety of residential and commercial solar projects.
What You'll Do

• Install and connect residential and commercial solar PV systems.
• Perform service panel tie-ins, subpanel connections, and utility interconnections.
• Install inverters, disconnects, combiner boxes, monitoring systems, and related equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, solar plans, and blueprints.
• Test, commission, and troubleshoot solar systems.
• Ensure all work complies with Massachusetts Electrical Code, NEC, and utility requirements.
• Work safely on rooftops and construction sites using proper fall protection.
• Collaborate with installers, project managers, inspectors, and field teams.
• Complete service calls, repairs, upgrades, and preventative maintenance.
• Document completed work, testing results, and materials used.

What We're Looking For
Required

• Valid Massachusetts Journeyman or Master Electrician License .
• Electrical construction or field service experience.
• Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
• Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and layouts.
• Experience with conduit installation, wiring, and electrical terminations.
• Comfortable working at heights and on rooftops.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to job sites throughout Massachusetts.

Preferred

• Solar PV installation, commissioning, or maintenance experience.
• Commercial or industrial electrical experience.
• Familiarity with inverters, monitoring systems, and other solar equipment.
• OSHA safety training.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Schedule & Work Environment

• Monday-Friday, typically 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM .
• Overtime available based on project needs.
• Occasional weekend work.
• Field-based role working at customer sites throughout Massachusetts.
• Work includes rooftops, outdoor environments, and active construction sites.
