Job Description 8 Fremont Street Experience, Las Vegas, NV 89101, USA The Valet Runner position is responsible for retrieving our guest vehicles, helping to unload/re-load luggage, park cars carefully and return vehicles quickly as well as providing professional, courteous, and overall satisfaction when guests are arriving and departing our property. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for practicing, supporting and promoting the Company Service Standards at all times Demonstrate attention to detail and complete assignment accurately Ability to follow instructions provided in both written and verbal form High attention to detail and workplace safety Must be self‑motivated and able to work under pressure Assist guests in a prompt courteous manner Maintains communication and cooperation with other shifts and departments to keep fellow Team Members informed of all pertinent information Have thorough knowledge of all areas of the garage, major streets, landmarks and freeways in the area in order to assist customers Able to effectively park and retrieve guest cars without causing damage to the vehicle Monitor and direct personal and commercial vehicle traffic on property, including guest vehicles, taxi cabs, limousines, and buses Qualifications Must be at least 21 years of age Ability to drive and operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles Ability to communicate effectively with Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form Ability to communicate in English Proficient in computer applications Education and/or Experience Must process a valid state‑issued driver’s license with a current address and acceptable driving record High school diploma or the equivalent Must have or obtain all required work cards Must possess excellent guest service skills to effectively deal with guests Physical, Mental and Work Environment Manual dexterity to operate job related equipment Must be able to stand during entire shift Work is typically in an area which may be noisy and may contain secondhand smoke Performance of job duties will require standing, walking, lifting, reaching, pushing, pulling and grasping Able to effectively park and retrieve guest cars without causing damage to the vehicle Tasks will include but not limited to the maintenance and care of assigned area Constant contact with fellow Team Members and guests This is not necessarily an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, skills, duties, requirements efforts or working conditions associated with the job.
