Job Description\n Alliance Services, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Sheboygan, Wisconsin.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: Med Surg\n Discipline: RN\n Start Date: ASAP\n Duration: 12 weeks\n 36 hours per week\n Shift: 12 hours, nights\n Employment Type: Travel\n \n \n Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2088\n $500 CONTRACT COMPLETION BONUS\n \n Opportunity:\n RN - MedSurg\n Job Details:\n • Float Pool position requiring travel to multiple units and anywhere in the hospital where MedSurg patients are located, including ER Holding/Boarding\n • Shift times: 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM (days) and 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM (nights)\n • Weekend rotation every other weekend\n • Schedule is made 4-6 weeks at a time with 2 weeks notice prior to start; block scheduling considered upon request but not guaranteed\n • No on-call responsibilities\n • May work up to 50% of holidays during contract\n • Patient ratios: 1:4-6 on days and 1:6 on nights\n • Minimum 2 years of MedSurg experience required\n • First-time travelers accepted\n • Care for patients across multiple unit types including General Medical/Surgical, Ortho/Neuro, and Cardiac units\n • Patient types include oncology (no chemo administration required), surgical, general medical, orthopedic, neurological, and cardiac patients\n • May occasionally monitor remote telemetry patients if Tele techs are short-staffed\n • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS\n • Required skills: chest tubes, stable trach management, IV skills, port/central line management, CPAP/BiPAP/Airvo knowledge, foley insertion and care, feeding tubes, and cardiac rhythm interpretation\n • Titrating drips including Cardizem, amiodarone, insulin, and argatroban (manager approval required if no drip experience)\n • EPIC EMR experience required\n • Equipment used: Alaris IV pumps and Pyxis medication dispensing system\n • Scrub color: Any solid color, professional; no graphics, logos, or designs\n • Free parking available\n Facility:\n This facility is a 101-licensed bed Level IV Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center offering a wide range of medical and surgical services. The hospital supports travelers with a traveler-friendly culture and strong teamwork atmosphere.
