This delivery role involves low-level design and the hands-on deployment of enterprise infrastructure and platforms, providing upgrade and migration services, and ensuring seamless integration with existing systems. Additionally, the Sr. Solutions Architect – SDDC serves as a mentor to other consultants within the team.This position is a remote position with Home Office setup as determined by SHI management.Role DescriptionPerforms low-level design and implementation work that may include architecture analysis and design, system migration, and systems engineeringResponsible for the design and implementation of:VMware VCF (VMware Cloud Foundation), both Brownfield and GreenfieldVMware VCF (Aria) AutomationVMware Private AI FoundationAutomation and IaC technologies such as SaltStack, Terraform, or AnsibleProficiency in PowerShell, PowerCLI, and JavascriptServer virtualization & operationsvSAN, Storage, & SANDisaster recoveryVMware NSX and general virtual networkingBackup & ransomware resiliency solutionsHyperconverged solutionsServe as the technical lead and subject matter expert on projects and workshops, overseeing the work of others and being accountable for the outcome of the projectCollaborate with sales and presales teams in identifying and closing professional services opportunities through customer discovery and scoping meetingsConfiguration and upgrade services within relevant work experience7+ years of experience in solutions architecture or working with infrascture (blade chassis, and servers, hypervisors, storage and storage fabrics, backup solutions)10+ years of experience with VMWare and associate product range in enterprise environments8 – 10+ years of technical experience with increasing responsibilityWillingness to travel occasionallyThorough understanding of virtualization technologies & software-defined datacenterThe base salary for this position is $150,000 – $200,000. The estimated on-target earnings, or OTE, which includes a base salary and bonus/commissions, are $180,000 – $220,000. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual.
