Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

• Experience with Meditech is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Hawaii license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• COVID booster required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: Medefis Program - Hawaii Health Systems Corp - East Region.

Additional Details:

References must be from the 2 most recent places of employment.

Required Skills/Experience: - 2+ years med surg or higher level of care.

Special Requests: - No holiday RTO requests.

Unit Details: - RN med/surg level care for patients 18 and over. - Uses Pyxis, wound vac, chest tubes.

Shift & Scheduling: - Day or night shift availability (TBD). Will be required to work various shift lengths and various days; must be flexible. Hours are not guaranteed. Shift preference is not guaranteed.

Floating Requirements: - May float to surg peds or transitional care units.

14 days maximum time off

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

Driver’s license required

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
