Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg - $28+ per hour

Overview Tenet Memphis is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Med Surg for a nursing job in Memphis, Tennessee. Responsibilities The role provides direct clinical patient care and assumes responsibility for assessing, planning, and implementing direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis, and at the unit level. Supervises staff to whom appropriate care is delegated and supports the CNO to ensure high quality, safe and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and appropriate resource management related to patient care. Coordinates patient care for assigned patients utilizing a multi-disciplinary approach. Develops plan of care for newly admitted patients and modifies it as conditions/needs change. Delivers designated nursing interventions that are consistent with the stated medical plan of care. Performs procedures in the specialty service area. Documents nursing care accurately and completely in all assigned patient records; all patient-related information is documented completely on appropriate forms. Performs related duties as required.
