Our rehabilitation team works collaboratively to help individuals regain independence, improve functional skills, and enhance quality of life.Position SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our therapy department. Under the direction and supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, the OTA will assist in implementing therapeutic interventions designed to promote residents' functional abilities, independence, and overall well-being.ResponsibilitiesCarry out individualized treatment plans as directed by the Occupational TherapistProvide therapeutic activities to improve ADLs, functional mobility, strength, and coordinationDocument resident progress in accordance with center policies and regulatory requirementsEducate residents and caregivers on adaptive techniques and home programsAssist with training in the use of adaptive equipmentCollaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support resident goalsMaintain a safe, positive, and encouraging therapy environmentQualificationsCurrent Occupational Therapy Assistant license in the state of CaliforniaStrong interpersonal, communication, and patient-care skillsAbility to work effectively within a collaborative care teamExperience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) preferred, but not requiredCompensation & BenefitsStarting rate: $52 per hourMedical, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off (PTO) and paid holidaysRetirement plan optionsContinuing education and professional development opportunitiesSupportive leadership and a positive team cultureWe are an equal opportunity employer.
