Job Description

Job Summary:
Responsible for performing high-quality CT imaging procedures to support diagnosis and patient care. Ensures patient safety, follows established protocols, and maintains accurate documentation throughout procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Operate GE CT equipment to produce diagnostic quality images.
• Prepare patients for scans by explaining procedures and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate documentation within Meditech/PACS systems.
• Adhere to department policies, including dress code and safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with radiology team to optimize workflow and patient throughput.
• Assist with equipment troubleshooting and maintenance as needed.

Qualifications:

• Hold active ARRT certification in CT and X-Ray.
• Have at least 2 years of professional experience in radiologic technology.
• Demonstrate advanced skills in CT procedures and patient handling.
• Possess strong attention to detail and adherence to safety standards.
• Be able to work flexible schedules, including overnight shifts.
• Maintain current certifications and licensure required by state and industry standards.
