Refractory Installer

Job Description

Day-To-Day:

Our customer who is a leading provider of refractories and industrial installation services, is seeking a Refractory Installer & Equipment Operator. The Refractory Installers' workday typically includes tear-out and replacement of high-temperature concrete furnace linings in industrial manufacturing facilities. Demolition is completed by state-of-the-art, mechanized tear-out equipment comparable to BROKK or excavators. The refractory skills required include masonry, welding, carpentry, and insulating. The installer must apply appropriate craftsman techniques following the specifications and generally accepted best practices. This individual will need to have a flexible work schedule, as overtime and travel will be required for this role.

Skills and Requirements

• Experience with masonry/concrete work

• Valid driver’s license & their own car to be ready to travel at all times

• Ability to work in confined spaces and on scaffolding at heights

• Willingness to work varied shifts (nights, weekends, 10-12 hr. days as needed), overnight travel as needed

• Able to pass drug test and background check
