Software Sales Account Manager

As a Software Sales Account Manager, you will own the entire sales process from prospecting to close, delivering productivity gains and real cost savings to AEC customers. Key Responsibilities Generate qualified leads, win new business, and expand relationships with existing customers. Prospect daily via phone, email, and targeted outreach (30+ calls per day). Build, manage, and nurture your pipeline using CRM tools. Research market opportunities and develop strategic sales plans. Clearly articulate and demonstrate the value of Autodesk construction solutions. Create excitement and enthusiasm among prospects through consultative selling. Attend trade shows, customer events, and marketing activities. Cultivate long‑term, trusted customer relationships. Thrive in a fast‑paced environment with multiple priorities. Solve customer challenges, sometimes with limited guidance, using creativity and initiative. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred. 1–5 years of sales experience (AEC industry experience strongly preferred). Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. A positive, team‑oriented attitude with a strong work ethic. Competitive, self‑motivated, high‑energy, and results‑driven. Detail‑oriented with excellent follow‑up skills. Willingness and ability to quickly learn Autodesk products and the AEC industry. A proven track record of achieving personal and professional goals.
