Occupational Therapy Assistant

Encompass Health is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant for our inpatient rehabilitation hospital. In this role, you will support occupational therapists in delivering evidence-based treatment to adults recovering from stroke, brain and spinal cord injuries, orthopedic conditions, and other complex illnesses. You will assist with patient evaluations, implement treatment plans, lead therapeutic activities, train patients and families in ADLs and adaptive equipment, and document progress. You’ll work closely with an interdisciplinary team in a mission-driven, patient-centered environment that values collaboration, learning, and work–life balance.
