Property Accountant
Our client, located in Midtown is searching for a Property Accountant to join their team.
This position will be responsible for the full cycle accounting of 10-15 properties and will coordinate with Property Managers as needed.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Preparation of Financial Statements and monthly reporting packages for assigned properties
- Process daily AP, AR and cash application
- Month end close, account reconciliations and analysis, journal entry preparation and bank account reconciliations
- Prepare annual budget
- Coordinate with Property Managers as needed to address any questions, account issues, and identify and review account variances
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- Minimum 2 5 years property accounting experience or strong core corporate accounting experience with the desire to learn property accounting
- Strong Excel skills
- Excellent communication
