Position Overview

A respected nonprofit hospice organization is seeking compassionate Registered Nurses to join its inpatient hospice unit. This role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals and families during some of life's most meaningful moments.

The inpatient unit features 18 beds with typical nurse-to-patient ratios of 5-7 patients, allowing nurses to develop strong relationships with patients and families while delivering holistic care focused on comfort, dignity, and quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to hospice patients in an inpatient setting
• Assess and manage patient symptoms and comfort needs
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
• Educate and support patients and family members
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

Requirements

• Active RN license
• New Graduate RNs will be considered
• Hospice experience preferred but not required
• Acute care experience preferred
• Strong communication and compassionate patient care skills
• Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team
