Pay: $40/hour
Location: Red Wing, MN
Type: Temporary / Campaign Position — Full-time and part-time shifts available, including evenings and weekends

End Date: November 3, 2026 (Election Day)
Experience: No experience required — paid training provided!

We're hiring canvassers across Southern Minnesota for a short-term Get Out the Vote (GOTV) program leading up to Election Day on November 3!

At JBC Campaigns, we're committed to electing Democrats and increasing voter participation through grassroots organizing and one-on-one conversations with voters. Our goal is to make sure voters have the information they need to make their voices heard this November.

We're looking for friendly, outgoing, and reliable individuals to join our canvassing team immediately!

As a canvasser, you'll go door-to-door in communities throughout Southern Minnesota, talk with voters about the upcoming election, provide important voting information, and help encourage participation on Election Day.

Canvassing opportunities are available in New Prague, Waseca, Blooming Prairie, and Dodge Center, MN. Applicants from surrounding areas, including Minneapolis and St. Paul, are welcome to apply.

No political or canvassing experience is necessary! We provide paid training, flexible scheduling, and a supportive team environment.

• Go door-to-door in assigned Southern Minnesota neighborhoods

• Engage voters in friendly, respectful conversations about the election

• Share important voting information and encourage voter turnout

• Accurately record voter conversations using MiniVAN

• Check in with supervisors and provide daily updates

• Represent the campaign professionally and respectfully

• Friendly, outgoing individuals who enjoy talking with people

• Reliable, punctual, and motivated team players

• Comfortable walking outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions

• Able to use a smartphone for data entry and navigation

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Previous canvassing, campaign, or community outreach experience is a plus, but not required

• Must be 18 years or older

• Authorized to work in the U.S.

• Must have a smartphone with mobile data

• Access to reliable transportation to assigned work locations

• Availability to work shifts between now and November 3

• Must complete paid training before beginning field work

• $40 PER HOUR
