Through strong partnerships, dedicated staff, and community-driven initiatives, we work to create lasting, measurable impact across Northeast Louisiana.Position OverviewThe Financial Health Associate is a front-line, community-facing role that supports individuals and families on their journey from financial crisis to long-term stability.This position serves as a connector, educator, and resource navigator, helping individuals access immediate support while also guiding them toward sustainable financial health and economic mobility.You will work across multiple programs including financial education, safe banking access, tax assistance, and financial counseling-ensuring each interaction leads to meaningful, long-term outcomes. Key ResponsibilitiesLead coordination and support of the Bank On coalition, building partnerships with financial institutions and expanding access to safe, affordable banking solutionsStrengthen collaboration with community partners to increase financial access for unbanked and underbanked populationsDrive integration across multiple financial health initiatives to ensure services are aligned, efficient, and outcome-focusedIdentify service gaps and work with partners to develop solutions and improve client pathwaysSupport and deliver financial education workshops covering budgeting, credit, savings, and banking accessEnsure education efforts connect participants to actionable resources and next stepsBuild and maintain relationships with nonprofits, service providers, and community organizationsRepresent the organization at community events, meetings, and outreach effortsSupport coordination of key programs, including tax assistance (VITA), financial counseling, and benefits access initiativesTrack participation, referrals, and program outcomes across initiativesContribute to reporting, evaluation, and continuous improvement effortsOther duties as assigned  Qualifications RequiredBachelor's degree OR 2–5 years of relevant experience in:Financial educationCase managementCommunity outreachHuman servicesStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to engage diverse populations with empathy and professionalismOrganizational skills with ability to manage multiple prioritiesPreferredExperience with financial literacy, banking access, or resource navigationFamiliarity with nonprofit or community-based programsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) United Way of Northeast Louisiana is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
